REGIONAL DIRECTOR


OVERVIEW

Innovative Teachers of Texas is seeking dynamic, connected, and passionate educators to serve as Regional Directors across Texas. Regional Directors are at the forefront of ITTexas’ mission to support teachers with protection, professional development, and a community rooted in excellence, freedom, and faith.

This role is ideal for current teachers, administrators, or respected local community leaders engaged in education. Regional Directors will work closely in their community to grow ITTexas’ presence and impact.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Personally invite and recruit educators to join ITTexas
  • Contact teachers using ITTexas-supplied contact lists
  • Distribute ITTexas swag to promote awareness
  • Present ITTexas’ professional insurance and legal benefits to peers
  • Organize at least one Fall recruitment social and one Spring networking event
  • Attend ITTexas’ annual summer conference in Austin (expenses paid)
  • Create a short bio and ITTexas email signature
  • Establish a local board (optional) to assist with regional duties
  • Communicate key issues and local insights with the ITTexas leadership
  • Maintain strong rapport with educators and other partners in your community

Who You Are:

  • A respected educator or community leader with a heart for service and education reform
  • Known and trusted in your school district or region
  • Passionate about student achievement, innovation in education, parental rights, and freedom in the classroom
  • Comfortable speaking one-on-one and in group settings
  • Well-networked and enthusiastic about community-building
